Hatsutori is a Catholic cultist whose faith primarily revolves around the mythos presented in The Divine Comedy. His cult focuses on the contents of Paradiso; in particular: the Empyrean Heaven and God's love ("His Love [...] which moves the sun and stars above," Canto 33). However, his meta and dialogue may still reference the Bible, Jesus ("the Savior"), and general Catholic beliefs if they come up naturally in a thread.
Because his faith is anchored in a real religion, I try to go light on the subject matter when it errs toward the real life religious end of the spectrum, and I try keep the meta at least a little silly, particularly when threading with players with whom I'm unfamiliar. Hatsutori is the sort of devout person who doesn't think it's weird to mention God out of the blue, but my general goal is to focus on the fictional aspect of his beliefs in the interest of player comfort. If a player makes it clear through threading they're okay with the topic I'll get into the broader religious aspect, but my default assumption going into a thread is to be mindful.
To be particularly clear, because Hatsutori is so fixated on religion (for him, at this level of excess, it's largely a coping mechanism) and because he can be arrogant and self-righteous in his thoughts, I understand his meta may sometimes erroneously seem like I believe he's correct. I do not agree with Hatsutori and I hope I can offset my meta well enough to make it clear I, as a player, do not agree with him, even when Hatsutori is convinced of himself.
Cell of Empireo, as a canon, also contains a variety of content warnings. Be aware that, in addition to the above, Hatsutori's character touches upon suicidal ideation, scientific experimentation (on people, plants, and animals) and death as a result of such experiments, parental death, mass shootings, adoptive fratricide, emotional manipulation, mass murder, disassociation, religious delusions, body horror, extreme violence, and gore. I will always check player permissions before bringing up a sensitive subject in a thread.
